David Hill Benny

Professor David Hill is currently Vice President of Blaise Pascal University in charge of ICT since July 2008. Past director of the Auvergne Region Computing Center (CRRI) 2008-2010, he was also deputy director of ISIMA Computer Science & Modeling Institute (French Grande Ecole d’Ingénieur) between 2005-2007. He managed 2 departments at ISIMA between 1995 and 2005. Professor Hill joined ISIMA in 1993 as Associate Professor. He received his French qualification as Research Director in 2000 and his Ph.D. in 1993 (in Object-Oriented Software Engineering and Simulation) all from Blaise Pascal University. He also holds a French "Diplome d'Ingenieur", DEA "Diplome d'Etude Avancee" (received in 1990) and a French Maitrise (1989). Since 1990, has served as chairman, program chairman or general chair at various international conferences. He is Associate Editor of the Simulation journal (SCS : Society for Computer Simulation) (www.scs.org), journal and reviewer for other simulation and modeling journals.
