An ISO 9001 certified school

In 2011, ISIMA took steps to implement a Quality Management System meeting the ISO 9001 standard and to apply for ISO 9001 certification.  In February 2014, the certification audit was successful and the school was awarded ISO 9001 certification. In February 2017, the school renewed its certification in line with the standard’s most recent 2015 version. ISO 9001 certification covers the quality of teaching on its engineering courses in the fields of computer science and modelling and services provided to engineering students.…

ISIMA and Virtual Reality

Since 2013, ISIMA has pursued several avenues to develop its resources in the field of Virtual Reality:
  • expanding its teaching activities: in addition to developing learning modules at ISIMA, we have pooled all the activities offered on the Campus
  • opening a new building on 8 November 2013 where most of these teaching activities take place. This building houses all the practical classrooms reserved for virtual/augmented reality and companies working in related areas
  • developing virtual reality projects between students on different courses, between students and companies, and soon in collaboration with overseas institutions.

L’ISIMA (Institut Supérieur d’Informatique, de Modélisation et de leurs Applications) is an enginnering school specialized in computer science in the Auvergne region.   The school has been authorised by the French Commission for Engineering degrees, Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI), for 20 years.
