Entrepreneurship Module

Training entrepreneurs and encouraging the spirit of enterprise in the young students which is a major issue for France. The main objective of the training offered at ISIMA is to make the students aware that they are actors in their own future and that multiple opportunities are available to them, notably that of creating their own business to be successful professionally and to create economic growth and jobs.

 

ISIMA offers, in partnership with the other engineering school sin Clermont, entrepreneurship modules in first and second year. Its aim is to raise students’ awareness to the challenges of entrepreneurship, and make them understand the mechanics of the interactions, on the aspects of running a start-up and its development.

 

Introductory Module (First Year)

Challenges of entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship skills

Creativity and innovative project idea research

Turning an idea into a business model

Methodology of project set up

Marketing, sales, financial, legal and technical aspects

Human resources aspects

Establishment of contact with key resource people, network local players and partners

Preparation of a project file by each group of students

 

Immersion Module (Second Year)

Presentation of the management simulator economic environment 

Analysis by the students, in groups, of the strategic business elements and their competitive context

Markets and sales decisions

Financial and activity decisions

Human resource management

Management of a company in a competitive sphere during the first 5 years

Viva voce and presentation of the development strategy by each group / company
